Here is what our Paris time has been like so far...
We left London from St. Pancras station
Notre Dame |
We stopped by the Louvre on Friday |
Proof that we went to Paris |
La Seine |
Day 2 - Back to the Louvre |
Napoleon III had a nicer dining room than we do |
Next up - the Arc de Triumph |
A stranger made us do this and he took our picture |
Dinner at Cafe Constant - Stephanie had steak |
...and Sam had a piglet |
And this is only a quick look. We have been many other places, and walked a lot in between. We have had crepes & pastries & wine. We continue to have a great time.
Bon Soir,
Sam
You guys are really cute! How is the hotel? When is the cruise?
ReplyDeleteThe cruise was actually cancelled. They cancelled the specific cruise we were scheduled for, but they offered to move us to another. We had been suffering a fair amount of buyer's remorse on that, so we took the opportunity to back out.
DeleteThe hotel is very nice. Huge bed for restful sleeping and other comfortable amenities. Eating food in the room is strictly forbidden, which is interesting. We have spent very little time here, but we are very satisfied with it.
Like I'm to believe that kiss photo was staged. I've seen that exact pose too many times to count. Piglet? Yuck!
ReplyDeleteYou two have been busy! I think the kissing photo is adorable. The steak and piglet look delicious. When do you leave for Barcelona? Visited Bell yesterday. She misses you two very much but is as energetic and playful as ever. No food in the hotel? That is a bit bazaar. That is a bummer on the dinner cruise but it sounds like it worked out for the best.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh, this was probably disappointment #2 or #3 that you were not engaged. I think I had bet that it would happen at Cambridge or on the cruise (thus my clarifying question 6 years ago). Also are you in Paris now or what?
ReplyDelete-Your very patient and not at all meddling sister
